Child Care Regulation (CCR) Online Account

An online account is required for all operation types except for Listed Family Homes. Listed Family Homes are encouraged, but not required, to create an online account.

Online Account Highlights

  • Submit an application* for a Licensed Child Care Home, Listed Family Home, or Registered Child Care Home;

  • Submit background checks, view a person's background check eligibility status, and validate your operation's person list;

  • Submit wavier and variance requests and permit renewal applications;

  • Submit changes about your operation, operation's governing body, and controlling persons;

  • View and pay CCR fee invoices;

  • View Results of Previous Inspections;

  • Verify and update liability insurance information; and

  • Access a message board that displays certain automated notifications and reminders for your operation.

How Do I Create an Online Account?

How you create an account is based on the status of your application or permit.Review the information below for guidance. If your situation is not listed, please contact your local Child Care Regulation (CCR) office.

I am submitting an application online and do not have an operation number.

  • Create your account by answering 'No' to 'Do you have a CCR Operation Number?' and entering the required information.
  • I am submitting an application online in response to an investigation of operating without a permit.

  • Create your account by answering 'Yes' to 'Do you have a CCR Operation Number?' and entering the operation number assigned to you.

  • You can find your operation number on the investigation letter or inspection form sent to you by Child Care Regulation. If you cannot locate your operation number, contact your local CCR office for assistance.
  • I submitted a paper application and have been assigned an operation number.

  • Create your account by answering 'Yes' to 'Do you have a CCR Operation Number?' and entering the required information.
  • I submitted a paper application and have NOT been assigned an operation number.

  • Wait until after you receive the operation number before creating your account.

  • What is a Permit ?

  • A permit is the written authorization granted by Child Care Regulation (CCR) to operate a child-care operation. The types of permits issued by CCR are certificate, compliance certificate, license, listing, and registration.
  • What is an Operation Number ?

  • An operation number (sometimes called a permit number) is a unique number assigned by Child Care Regulation to persons and businesses that:
  • have applied for or been issued a permit (certificate, compliance certificate, license, listing, or registration);
  • have submitted an exemption request; or
  • have been reported as an unregulated operation.

  • An operation number must be assigned to you or your business before you can submit requests to have Child Care Regulation process the required background checks.

    How Do I find My Operation Number?

    If Child Care Regulation (CCR) has issued you or your business a certificate, compliance certificate, license, listing, or registration, you can view the operation number on the paper permit given to you or your business. Your operation number is also displayed on all inspection reports, investigation letters, and other official correspondence from CCR. If you do not know if you have an operation number or cannot find the number, please contact your local CCR office.
